Manifesto UK is the place for anyone interested in UK politics. Want to discuss political issues and make your views heard? This is the place. Want to post links to other political websites, or upload information about political meetings or events? This is the place.

But Manifesto UK is more than just that. It's also an experiment in online democracy, the aim being to produce an ongoing political manifesto.

Anyone who becomes a Manifesto UK voter can introduce potential policies into the manifesto and can vote on what the Manifesto UK policy should be. There are main policy categories,  sub-categories within those categories and policy headings within those sub-categories. Voters can add new headings, and introduce potential policy under new or existing headings.

Manifesto UK policy changes each month. Throughout the month, voters can see how the vote count is proceeding by clicking on the 'statistics' tab above the policies under each heading. The 'official' vote count is carried out at midnight UK time on the last day of each month. The results of this vote count determine the new Manifesto UK current policy.
