chatblox.com is a free-to-use web based helpdesk provider. By joining chatblox you get your own helpdesk which anyone can use to chat with you when you are available. People connecting to your helpdesk need just a browser to access it at chatblox.com.
ChatBlox uses jabber, that means that you do not have to use a special program to connect to your helpdesk. If you have a jabber account (for instance through google talk, or by getting one from the many available free jabber servers) you just need to add your account to the helpdesk, and whenever you are available, people will be able to join you.
ChatBlox is based entirely on open source software. All code that we have written or used is entirely open source and published under the GPL license. You can create your own chatblox-like site, use it in your company as a private helpdesk server or create something completely different with it.
anoihtipoli.gr
anoihtipoli.gr is the official website of 'Ανοιχτή Πόλη' (or 'open city' in english), an active citizens group looking after the interests of the municipality of Athens in Greece.
The movement was created before the 2006 municipal elections where it obtained 10.5% of the votes, and utilises the website to keep the Athenian population informed on significant developments in environmental, educational and other political issues.
The website is used as a means of communication and debate among its members and active citizens in general, featuring among other tools, blogs, articles, newsletters, discussion forums and multimedia content.
egoban.org
egoban.org is a community site for fans of the Go game. Go is an oriental strategy game played on a board where players alternately place black and white pieces.
The site is free to join for any go player. A member can submit their games in the popular Go file formats. Then other members can replay, search these games.
In addition, members can tag and comment on others games, making egoban.org a unique learning site.
egoban.org features an AJAX-enabled interface providing a rich UI experience for the user.
